O   Introduction of Halo 2
|_______________________________________________________
                                                        |
Well, Bungie really threw one on us.   This game is a   |
lot better than the first one, I mean A LOT.   But,     |
  the
single
-player mode is kind of short, unless you   |
play it on Legendary, then it takes forever.   You     |
see, Bungie threw the Master Chief into a whole new   |
place of death and destruction, but the isn't that     |
hard, and it is really annoying at times.   Oh yea,     |
Bungie is letting us play with an Elite known as the   |
Arbiter, which he gets tortured in the beginning, but |
  I won't get into that, cause I mean, don't want to     |
spoil this "great" game do we?                         |

O   How To Play
|_______________________________________________________
                                                        |
Ok, since you all mostly know how to play this game,   |
considering you SHOULD have played the first Halo,     |
*cough cough* you should pretty much know how to play |
the game, but in case you were stupid and got Halo 2   |
without getting Halo, look in your manual for your     |
controls, cause I'm just lazy.                         |
                                                        |
  O   Quickstart                                         |
  |_______________________________________________       |
                                                  |     |
Ok now what am I supposed to do in this       |     |
section, oh yea....I have to tell you about   |     |
the wonders of the starting menu.   It's like   |     |
this:   you have your Campaign mode at the top,|     |
and Xbox Live right below that.   Well you     |     |
better have Xbox Live if you want to have fun |     |
with this game.   Below that you've got your   |     |
good ol' fashion Multiplayer mode, or as       |     |
Bungie likes to call it, Split Screen (weird).|     |
Below that you have your System Link thing.   |     |
You would think Bungie would save some space   |     |
and put System Link in with Split Screen       |     |
(still weird) but then again who cares?   At   |     |
last, you've got your settings, where you can |     |
go edit the Gametypes and whatnot.             |     |
                                                  |     |
                                    _____________|     |
                    O______________/                   |

  O   Controls                                           |
  |_______________________________________________       |
                                                  |     |
Ok this is where you learn how to play the     |     |
game using a little device I like to call the |     |
controller (very handy by the way).   You       |     |
should have bought Halo and got the controls   |     |
that way, or you can be a little newbie and   |     |
read your little manual, I don't really care. |     |
But for you people that know the controls     |     |
you shall learn the cool part about Halo 2's   |     |
new control system (I like that word).   Bungie|     |
really made this game better.   Like now you   |     |
can board vehicles and dual-weild and stuff   |     |
like that.   Here is a list of the cool stuff: |     |
                                                  |     |
        Boarding Vehicles: Hold X                 |     |
Boarding is really cool, you get to kick the   |     |
little pieces of crap off their vehicle and   |     |
take it for yourself.   Wariths require more   |     |
button-pushing though, you have to constantly |     |
melee the door with B until it breaks, then   |     |
push L to throw a grenade in and X to quickly |     |
    jump off.                                     |     |
                                                  |     |
        Dual-Weild: Hold Y over a dual weapon     |     |
Wow, it just keeps getting better and better. |     |
Dual-Weilding is awesome hands down, because   |     |
it can save your butt if your on Legendary     |     |
trust me.   The best dual-weilding I have ever |     |
    done was with two
plasma
rifles and two of     |     |
those kick-butt needlers, they do twice as     |     |
much damage now (THANK YOU!!!!)               |     |
                                                  |     |
Yay!   You got the inside "scoop" on Halo 2's   |     |
    awesome new features.                         |     |
                                                  |     |

|         Okay, let's start things off with a little tutorial shall we?   These
|         things are more annoying than clipping your fingernails.   Do the
|         targeting thing and then the Energy Shield Test.   After the test,
|         Sergeant Major A. J. Johnson will appear at the elevator to collect
|         you for some ceremony.   Follow him into the elevator and get out as
|         as soon as it stops and enter the train.   When you exit the train, a
|         cutscene will begin with some ceremony.   You will then be interrupted
|         by Cortana because of incoming Covenant Cruisers and a capital ship.
|
|         Get ready, cause your about to battle!   When you gain control of the
|         chief go down the steps ahead of you and grab the Battle Rifle and
|         the SMG on the wall.   I chose to dual-wield the SMGs and if you are
|         a cool person like me, you will do the same.   Now, before we begin
|         the first battle, let me tell you something.   There is ammunition
|         everywhere.   You can't miss it.   After the next battle, come back to
|         the
room
you are in right now and get your ammo back.   Ok, now go on
|         through the door and everything until you come to another
room
.
|         Below, you will see a door that looks like it can open, but it really
|         can't.   Look outside and watch the covenant boarding craft to board
|         the Cairo and get ready for battle!           ______________________o

|
|         Ok, you can choose to be a little wuss and get behind something for
|         cover (which is what I did on Legendary), or you could just stand
|         there.   Either way is fine with me.   Now, when they bust through,
|         start shooting.   About three waves will come after you and your so
|         called friends.   If you are having trouble, hide behind something and
|         let Johnson do all the work.   He can't die, plus he has a turret.
|         You can choose to get some of these weapons, or you could keep yours.
|         Go back and get your ammo and stuff and continue on through the old
|         busted down door and head to the right.   Kill those sorry and so
|         pathetic things and go to your right.   Head up the steps, and on the
|         way you find a dead body with some SMG ammo there.
|
|         Through the next door, you will notice some more ammo at the other
|         end of the
room
.   You have two choices here, go to your left and take
|         the turret to kill the enemies and then jump down, or you could keep
|         going straight and take the steps down to meet a grunt and a few
|         elites.   Whichever way you go, go out into the recreational area and
|         jump onto the risen platform on the left wall, killing any enemies
|         that get into your way.   Go through the little door, and head down to
|         your right.   You should come to two ways you can go.   To the left,
|         there are about four enemies and to your right there is a
room
full.
|         What I did was went back up and out the corridor and took care of the
|         enemies across the
room
then went back down and took care of the
|         other enemies.
|
|         When you get done, go through the left
room
and go up the steps.   You

|         the enemies spurting out of the ship.   Whenever you hear people

|         When that's over, more Covenant will spurt out of the door behind the
|         Pelican.   Take them out, the continue through that door until you

|
|         You will begin this level with an SMG and a Battle Rifle.   The Sarge
|         holds a Sniper Rifle if you want to trade with him but it isn't highly
|         recommended because of the Hunters later on.   Anyway,   go through the
|         door and to your left.   Kill the grunt, and continue outside, killing
|         anyting in your path.   You must hold your position here until evac
|         arrives for more support.   Continue forward, into a
room
with a
|         skylight, and gead up the steps.   A few grunts and an elite will pop
|         out.   Take them out, then exit this part to come to another part with
|         a mounted 50Cal. turret.   You can choose to man the turret, or take
|         them out with your guns.   But the turret isn't always an option.
|         Sometimes, grunts and elites will pop out of alleyways to the left of
|         the turret down in the courtyard.   Some will appear on top of the
|         buildings to your left and some will appear in the courtyard.   Here is
|         a list of what Sergeant might say to where enemies are located:
|
|         "Here they come.   Up High.":   An Elite appears on the roof on the left
|         side of the turret.   The rest come through the two smaller lanes
|         under it.   On higher difficulty levels, Jackal snipers appear on the
|         rooftops and can kill you with a
single
shot.
|
|         "More on the street.   Left side.":   Grunts and Elites will appear on
|         the crossing on the left side.
|
|         "New
Contact
!" or "Across the street, down low.":   Grunts and Elites
|         will emerge from the two small alleys.
|
|         "We got Jackals in the courtyard.":   Jackals and at least one Elite
|         appear in the alley leading to the crash site where you came from.
|
|         "Buggers heading over the rooftops.":   A swarm of Drones appear coming
|         over the rooftops ahead of the gun.
|
|         After you have killed all of these, a Phantom will double back and
|         drop off Grunts and Elites.   Shoot the guns as soon as possible then
|         when you see something drop start shooting at the ground where the
|         enemies landed.   After all thats over, point your turret over towards
|         the door on the left of the turret in the courtyard.   Two hunters will
|         blow down the door.   As soon as that door is down, start shooting.
|         The hunters will die pretty fast by the gun, but if it gets blown up,
|         take the Sniper Rifle from Sergeant Johnson and pick them off.   Make
|         sure you save at least one bullet with the Sniper Rifle though so you
|         can get your weapon back and assure that he wont run out of ammo.
|
|         Go on through the door and follow the path until you come to the area
|         where you see a bunch of Jackals on the ground.   If you have left at
|         least 2 bullets in the sniper rifle, take that again and pick off the
|         Jackal in the back with the sniper rifle.   He is mounted to the left
|         of the grounded jackals in a little alcove.   Get your weapon back, and
|         take out that Jackals, or you could let the incoming Pelican do it.   I
|         don't care.   Continue through picking up the Battle Rifle and SMG ammo
|         that is laying on the ground.   The Battle Rifle ammo is at the left
|         wall and the SMG is to the right of that.
|
|         Continue on and take out the THREE Sniper Jackals with your Battle
|         Rifle.   Drones will appear, so take those out as well.   Take out any
|         remaining enemies and take the first left you can.   Let the marines
|         take care of the Jackal, but take another left and you will find two
|         dead bodies in a corner that have some SMG ammo.   Go on outside, take
|         out the Grunts and Elites that appear, and continue until you see a
|         side-turned vehicle that has SMG ammo behind it.   Continue on through
|         their and kill the Elites and grunts.
|
|         Follow the marine into the dark alley and push (WHITE) to activate
|         your flashlight.   When you get near the end get in the left
|         corridor, turn off your flashlight, and drop your dual-weild weapon
|         if your using it.   Throw a frag grenade if you have any, then switch
|         to
Plasma
and use those when you see an elite run by you, he
|         shouldn't notice.

|         Continue onward and take a left and kill the grunts. Turn back and go
|         up the landing where a Phantom will drop some Covenant.   Throw a frag
|         at the ground right when they start dropping to kill most of them,
|         then finish them off with the guns.   A warthog will appear, and you
|         get the chance to drive it or you could let them drive it. They will
|         be shooting at oncoming ghosts.   If you choose to let them drive,
|         there is a ghost down near the downed Pelican.     ________________o

|
|         Get behind the steering whel of the Warthog and wait until the former

|         direction of the tunnel.   You can fight against the Covenant forces on
|         the beach as you go, but be wary of the snipers stationed on the
|         floating watchtowers.   This mission objective is completed as soon as
|         you've destroyed all enemies at the tunnel to end the level.
|         Therefore, you could leave the Warthog entirely and use a Ghost to get
|         there, or even walk.   The latter option is not recommended, but
|         entirely possible.   Between you and the tunnel are mainly Elites,
|         Ghosts, and a Phantom.   It's possible to simply race through to the
|         highway tunner.   If you want to take out a few enemies before doing
|         that, you'll find a rocket launcher on top of the bunker.   You cna use
|         it to destroy the guns on Phantoms, rendering them effectively
|         harmless.   The tunnel is very long -- you should definitely grab a

|         Follow the tunnel to the right until you reach the exit.   Occasionally
|         you'll have to drive into a parallel tunnel.   The Covenant have

|         If you're piloting a Ghost and a Drone lands on the bonnet and ttacks

|         serious damage.   Alternatively, you could accelerate and collide with
|         a wall to dislodge it.   When you reach a branch in the road, a red
|         light will
show
you that this exit is barred.   Use the ramp to evade
|         the cannon of the Shadow parked here, but stay on the road.   A little
|         later you'll meet a convoy of three Shadows.   In a hall not far from
|         the exit, the Covenant will make a last attempt to prevent your
|         escape.   All you have to do now is get through there to reach the
|         bridge -- and, by doing so, finish this level.   ___________________o

|         Climb into the Scorpion.   After the two Marines have taken their
|         seats, get rolling.   Your comrades will shoot everything within range
|         from their side.   Look out for distant movement on the bridge and
|         react as soon as the Ghosts begin to approach you.   One well-aimed hit
|         with the cannon will usually destroy these speedy Covenant vehicles,
|         but it's always worthwhile to bath them in constant machine gun fire.
|         The engines of a terminally ill Ghost will often explode.   Watch out
|         for the characteristic sound these "dying" Ghosts make and remember to
|         keep your distance.
|
|         There's a Wraith on the middle of the bridge.   Shots from its mortar
|         cannon are relatively slow and fly in an arc but, as your tank is not
|         blessed with any real
degree
of acceleration, you should definitely
|         keep one eye on the skies.   Hit the Wraith a few times with the
|         Scorpion's cannon to destroy it.   Behind the Wraith is a hole in the
|         road.   Drive around it -- staying to the left is safer.   At this
|         point, Phantoms will arrive from behind.   Shoot the cannons attached
|         to their undersides.   Additionally, Banshees will attack
|         from above, and there are some more Ghosts to deal with.   At the toll
|         both a veritable Covenant armada is waiting fo you.   Two Wraiths will
|         emerge from the tunnel -- and you'll have to get past them because,
|         typically, the tunnel is where you need to go next.   The best strategy
|         when you encounter Wraiths is to keep
moving
at all times.
|
|         A floodgate blocks the road in the tunnel.   Get out and continue on
|         foot or with a Ghost or Warthog you could even drive over the ramp
|         on the right side.   You can swap your weapon for something better
|         with the Marines down there -- you could, for example, grab a Shotgun
|         for close-quarters combat.   There's a Beam Rifle on the floodgate,
|         which is handy for attacking the Covenant further down the tunnel.
|         Your goal is the exit of the tunnel down further to the right of the
|         road. Go through the tube on the left side to reach a park.   _____o

|         the warthog and get the ex-drive to be the gunner.   Your goal is the
|         passage under the right rim of the dome.   You could also choose to run
|         through without a vehicle and s the Rocket Launcher lying behind a
|         corner there to fight the Wraith.   You might even prefer to board one
|         of the Ghosts or even the Wraith!   Whatever your choice is, you should
|         go through the arch behind the Wraith and advance into the city
|         center.
|
|         There is a Marine command post in the building at the end of
|         the city.   You'll have to destroy the Wraiths on the road, but you
|         could also take one.   Also, destroy the weapons on the attacking
|         Phantom -- ar, at very least drive it away with a sustained barrage of
|         fire.   You could use a Ghost for that just
dodge
the attacks while
|
moving
sideways, or instead go and pick up the Rocket Launcher lying
|         in a back road.   A Warthog with a Gauss Cannon will offer support.
|         You could choose to drive it yourself or use the cannon.   As soon as

Rifle, while
|         deadly in multiplayer mode,
single
player has a limited supply of
|         juice and depletes rather fast unless you use the B button attack.   To
|         find the Heretic Leader, you'll have to go into the very depths of the
|         space station.   Turn down the ramp with your SpecOps allies.   Wait at
|         the airlock outer door until it opens.   This is where the fun begins.
|         Press (WHITE) as soon as the inner door opens to engage your Active
|         Camo.   Now, active camo will only last about 10 seconds or so, and
|         takes 20 seconds to recharge, so use it wisely.
|
|         Get close to the elite and hit him on the head from behind.   Now take
|         down the other Heretics in the entrance area.   Swap your
Plasma
Rifle
|         with a Carbine and kill the Heretics on the incline from a safe
|         distance with precise headshots.   Move up the slope and tehn walk
|         down again on the other side, and watch out for Heretics lurking
|         behind the low walls.   Don't let the conveyor belts carry you into
|         the abyss!   Reactivate your active camo regularly when advancing into
|         unknown territory -- it's also useful for makeing unseen retreats.
|
|         On the lower level, you'll find an elevator in the back part of the
|         hall.   More Grunts and Elites will attack you.   If any members of
|         your SpecOps team survived, you'll meet them by the elevator.   Use
|         the multicolored holo-switch in the elevator to go down.   Activate
|         your Camo in the elevator before you reach your destination.
|
|         Now take cover behind the elevator to take stock of the situation.
|         The spaceship in the hangar is a Seraph.   You won't be able to use
|         it.   Next the usual Heretics there are also Sentinels in this hall.
|         Watch out for the bluish glowing containers:   they'll detonate when
|         subjected to sustained fire.   This can be very useful when enemies
|         are standing nearby, but deadly should the Arbiter be stood next to
|         one when it explodes.   The exit from the hall is on the lower level,
|         opposite the great hangar gate.
|
|         This door will only open after you've killed all the enemies in the
|         hangar.   As soon as a Heretic sees you, it will notify its comrades.
|         The best thing you can do is to run camoflouged from cover to cover
|         towards the great hangar gate.   You'll be ordered to open the gate to
|         allow reinforcements to enter.   Use one of the switches on the left
|         or the right next to the gate.   You won't be able to run around
|         outside -- the fierce winds will prevent your exit from the hangar.
|         As soon as your Phantom enters the hall, it will fire everything it
|         has at your enemies and deploy several SpecOps soldiers to assist
|         you.   At the same time, many Heretics will enter the hall, including
|         Grunts carrying Fuel Rod Cannons.
|
|         The Phantom will soon leave, and the advancing Heretic reinforcements
|         finally open the exit.   Grunts will position
Plasma
Cannons in front
|         of it.   Get a Fuel Rod Cannon if you can grab one and remove this
|         danger as soon as possible.   A corridor leads you away from the
|         hangar.   There will be some Elites and Grunts down here, so watch
|         your Motion Tracker closely.   You should rely on the power of
|         grenades and the Energy Sword 00 or, if you prefer, just improvise
|         with any other avilable weapon.
|
|         After three turns to the left, you'll reach another hall.   The exit
|         is on the right side.   Turn on your Camo and take out a Grunt or two.
|         Now position yourself for reinforcements -- they'll arrive shortly
|         via the door across from the point where you entered this area.
|         You'll now be in another corridor that leads downward in regular
|         slopes to the left.   There is another hall at the end of the
|         corridor.   Approach solitary Elites from behind on your way and
|         finish them off with a hit on the back of the head.   You should also
|         dispatch the Grunts found sleeping in some corners.
|
|         In the second hall, turn to the left.   Start running and press
|         (WHITE).   If you're fast enough, you might be able to reach the exit
|         without being noticed.   The exit is in a niche on your right side,
|         shortly before the hall ends.   Your goal is mere steps away: you only
|         have to go through a door to finally reach the Heretic Leader.
|         Unfortunately, he's standing on the Banshee launch pad behind a glass
|         screen -- and now you definitely will be discovered.   One of the
|         doors in the side walls will open.   Don't allow the Heretics to
|         detain you for long. Fight your way through them and follow the
|         Heretic Leader.       ________________________________________o

|
|         The "official" route is a little more complicated, but a lot more
|         fun.   Your Banshee is accompanied by a Phantom.   This Phantom assists
|         you in your search for the Heretic Leader.   To support it in turn,
|         you'll have to shoot down all the attacking Banshees and destroy the
|
Plasma
Cannons on each and every platform and balcony.   The search
|         will slowly lead you around the whole station.   If you want, you can
|         stop on the way and pick up a Fuel Rod Cannon from the dead grunts
|         lying on platforms.   There is one place where a lot of Grunts will
|         shoot at the Phantom with these guns so go there and get one with
|         some ammo to back it up if you like. Once you reach the end, kill the
|         enemies on the outside and head on in.

|
|         There's a strange ambience in the
rooms
:   it's the silence before the
|         storm.   In the first lab, jump to the lower level.   Shortly afterwards
|         you'll meet the Heretic Leader, but only in the form of a hologram.
|         Use the time you have here to destroy the corpses on the floor by
|         shooting them with a FRC if you have one.   If not, shoot with a gun.
|
|         Soon after, the Flood will spurt out and start attacking you.   Yep,
|         the Flood.   Good thing you destroyed the bodies otherwise you will
|         have to fight the dead things lying on the ground.   Grab an Energy
|         Sword or continue on until you find one.   In the next
room
, there are
|         Flood and Sentinels battling it out with each other.   You can choose
|         to bust in there with everything you've got or choose to wait a
|         LOOOONNG time for the battle to end.   Attack the Combat Forms with
|         your Energy Sword (B Button) to kill them instantly.   Doing this will
|         prevent the infection forms from bringing the dead back to life.
|
|         Continue on through destroying any Flood with your Sword and an
|         automatic weapon for the Infection Forms.   Continue on until you get
|         to where you see the Heretic Leader lock himself inside a chamber.   Go
|         up the platform, killing any Combat Forms along the way.   If you want,
|         you can switch there weapons with yours because some Flood carry human
|         weapons.   Anyway, take the Energy Sword from the SpecOps Elite, unless
|         you already have one, but I suggest you get it anyway.   Head up the
|         platforms and get onto the elevator.     ___________________________o

|         pain.   Go back down the elevator, and through the door that the Leader

|         After the flight, you'll be on the Banshee launch pad that you left at
|         the end of the previous level.   You are now expected to get back up to
|         the hangar with the Seraph.   The Flood is abundant throughout the
|         station.   From time to time, pockets of Heretics and Sentinels will
|         still fight against it.   The exit of the first hall is on the lower
|         level on the right.   Continue further to the right.   In the next great
|         hall, the exit is far away on the left.   Now you're in another
|         corridor going upwards.   Again, keep to the right.   Finally, you'll
|         catch up with the Heretic Leader.
|
|         He is accompanied by the holy Oracle -- an old acquaintance from
|         Halo: Combat Evolved...   The hunt is finally over, time to take out
|         this big piece of disgrace for good!   He lets out two other holograms
|         of himself, except these will shoot and hurt.   You can choose to
|         destroy the two copies or go straight for the original one.   The best
|         tactic is to Dual-Wield two needlers found behind the ship and start
|         unloading on the two things.   After the needler ammo is gone, at
|         least one of them should be dead, and you could take that ammo or
|         chose to attack with your sword if you still have it.   After the
|         holograms are gone, the mission ends.     _______________________o

|         the columns.
|
|         At the end of the next tunnel you'll find the ruins you've been
|         searching for.   Approach them with caution because the defenders are
|         categorically not pleased to see you.   The narrow entrance is on the
|         left end of the walkway you'll see directly in front of you.   You
|         won't be able to get through there with your tank, so you should use
|         its cannon to pummel enemy forces before jumping out.
|
|         A secondary goal on your way to the center can be found on the right
|         side of this structure.   Drive up on the ramp to get as close to
|         the arcades as possible.   A Pelican will drop Weapon Capsules there.
|         These torpedo-like containers are fulled with weapons like Sniper
|         Rifles and Rocket Launchers.   Help yourself!   As soon as the area is
|         safe, Marines will be deplyed -- they'll support you on your way into
|         the center.   The entrance is designed for pedestrians only, but its
|         possible to squeeze through with a Ghost.
|
|         After you've gone to the center of the ruins, you'll have to fight
|         your way through the Covenant.   Use every bit of cover the ruins can
|         offer you.   Grenades are quite effective in the close confines of
|         this area.   In case you lose your way, here are some directions:   in
|         one corner of the inner courtyard a slope will lead upward.   Follow
|         the slope up and then just follow the path.   Don't be lulled into a
|         false sense of security by the deceitful silence:   there are Jackals

|         through the narrow crevice on the left side.     ________________o

|
|         Shortly after the mission name has been displayed on your screen,
|         you'll meet a Jackal sniper who is careless enough to
show
his back to
|         you.   His Beam Rifle will prove very useful.   Have a good look at the
|         basin in front of you.   On the opposite side you'll see a small cave.
|         On the level up there you'll also see a large cave tunnel -- the exit.
|         You can reach it via the left side of this valley.   The natural bridge
|         in the middle of the valley will help you to orientate yourself here.
|         Between its lower end and the small cave, a path will lead steeply
|         upwards.   At the upper end of this path, keep to the right and you'll\
|         reach your goal.
|
|         Use the Beam Rifle to kill all the Jackals you can see.   Keep an eye
|         on the area below your original position.   There are a few Covenant
|         down there -- and not only Jackals, but Elites as well.   Use your
|         scope to shoot enemies from the largest possible distance.
|         If you are being fired at by snipers, move to a new position and
|         examine the clearly visible traces of each shot -- they will betray
|         the position of the hidden marksmen.   Occasionally Drones will attack
|         you as well.   You'll hear their characteristic noise before you see
|         them, giving you time to switch to another weapon -- and, ideally, one
|         with a suitably high rate of fire.
|
|         Help yourself at the Weapon Capsules before entering the complex.
|         There are Jackal Snipers on the rooftop.   As soon as you've killed
|         them -- and, should you attract their attention, swatted a swarm of
|         Drones as well -- get ready to meet the Honor Guards.   These Elites
|         are trained to protect of the Prophets, and are truly fearsome.
|         Inside the building, two Honor Guards will have swords and the other

|         At the end of the cutscene you'll immediately be attacked by Drones
|         and Elites.   They will enter through the door that opened on the
|         upper-right side.   Behind the door, you'll find a Beam Rifle.   This
|         weapon definitely comes in handy here, because there are several
|         snipers on the other buildings.   Take a good look around.   If you're
|         hit by a shot from afar, run behind cover and take care of the Jackal
|         afterwards.   The rays of the Beam Rifles will give away the position
|         of each sniper.
|
|         There is an equally pressing but altogether more
|         immediate problem that requires your attention as you evade and return
|         fire on the snipers:   Grunts and Elites will approach from behind the
|         corner on the left side.   When crossing the bridge leading to the next
|         building, you should stay on the lower level.   You'll find another

Show
a little foresight and use the weapon to kill

|
|         There are several Elites and Jackals in the area behind the building.
|         As soon as you've termintated each with due prejiduce, there will be
|         a small and deceptive hiatus.   It won't last long:   a Phantom is
|         closing in.   Take cover close to the building or under the roof in
|         the middle of the round battle arena.   The dropship will also deploy
|         a pair of Hunters.   If some Marines survived up to this point, they
|         will distract the giants.   If this is the case, it's easy to place
|         a deadly shot in their backs with the Beam Rifle or Carbine.   A
Plasma

|         Sword can also help you to end thiws particular gladitorial bout
|         quickly and cleanly.
|
|         After the fight, a Pelican will deploy Weapon Capsules an fresh
|         Marines.   Take a Sniper Rifle or a Beam Rifle: you'll need it.
|         Approaching from the direction of the building in the background, a
|         gondola floats closer, and it's packed to the brim with Covenant.
|         Shoot as many as you can from a safe distance.   After the Gondola has
|         docked, you can jump aboard and use the switch at the front in the

|         From the other "lane", the other gondola will approach you.   Be warned

|         there are turrets and Grunts as well as snipers on its rooftop.   When
|         you've shot the operators of the cannons, be aware that others will
|         take their place.   There will also be enemies down at the entrance.
|
|
|         There is a huge rock in the entrance area, and you can jump on it.
|         From there, jump up to a ledge lying in the dark which will lead you
|         to the turrets outside.   Make sure that no Covenant can sneak up on
|         you here.   In the center of the building you'll have to kill all the
|         Drones and Jackals.   Shortly afterward, a glass elevator will appear.
|         There are some Jackals inside, so throw a grenade into it as soon as
|         it opens.   Before you get into the elevator and use the switch to get
